私はコンピュータプログラマーとしてテキサスで働いていましたが初めて日本に遊びにきたときにとても楽しい経験が出来て１年後に日本で働こうと決めました。
私は最初、相模原に住み、鶴川で英語を教えていました。そこで多くの子供たちや多くの人々に出会い私自身も日本の文化についていろいろ学びました。 私は今、杉並区に住んでいます。
私の好きなことは、旅行、読書、コンピュータ、そしてまだ自分が知らないものを発見することを楽しんでいます。
私は、生徒さんに快適なレッスンと英会話を興味深くすることが重要であると思います。 そのために、全ての生徒さんの興味のあるものまたその人のバックグラウンドにあるものを見つけようと努力しそれらを理解した上で生徒さんに会った授業を作っていきます。 とにかく英会話は、レッスンを楽しむことが重要です。 |
I first came to Japan for vacation and really enjoyed the experience. I was working as a computer programmer at the time and decided to move to Tokyo a year later. It is much different to Texas.
I first lived in Sagamihara and worked in Tsurukawa. I taught many adults and children there and learned many things about Japanese people and culture. I am now living in Suginami ward.
In my free time, I like to travel, reading, and computers. I still enjoy sightseeing and discovering new things around Tokyo.
With teaching, I feel that it is important to make the students comfortable and the lessons interesting. I try to look at the student's background and interests to tailor the lessons for them. I also try to wgive positive feedback to students and to try to have them ask questions when they do not understand something. It is also important for the students to enjoy the lessons. |
